Associate Sean Murphy
Sean Murphy is an Associate in Gotham’s Washington, D.C. office, helping spearhead and navigate the Firm’s initiatives on the federal level. In addition to his knowledge of D.C. politics, he brings a unique understanding of the dynamic nature of international affairs, grounded in academic and professional experience, making him a valuable asset to the team. Sean graduated cum laude from Loyola University Maryland with his B.A. in Global Studies and a Minor in Spanish. After graduating from Loyola, Sean went on to pursue his M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in Conflict and Security at the New School in Manhattan, graduating with a 3.8 overall GPA. While at the New School, Sean gained professional experience working for an NGO and the United Nations Development Programme. Prior to joining Gotham as an Associate, Sean worked for Congressman Lee Zeldin as a Staff Assistant in his Washington, D.C. office. Congressman Zeldin’s position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee allowed him to work in conjunction with his fellow staffers to help advance the Congressman’s agenda both on the Committee and in Congress.
